My slightest sighs, my greatest sufferings, my sorrows and my joys,
my little sacrifices: my flowers, Jesus, for you. – St. Therese of Lisieux
St. Therese, help each one of us to see ourselves as little ones. Enable us to see our weakness, not as something to make us sad, but rather as an invitation to reach out and to touch the merciful love of Jesus Christ in our lives.
You never let your weakness or littleness oppress you. You knew that your love for Jesus was the source of your greatness and your holiness of life. Help us to make Jesus Christ the center of our thoughts and of our lives and of all that we say and do. Amen.
