Living on Love, O my Divine Master,
Is begging you to spread your Fire
In the holy, sacred soul of your priest.
May he be purer than a seraphim in Heaven!
Ah! Glorify your Immortal Church!
Jesus, do not be deaf to my sighs.
I, her child, sacrifice myself for her,
I live on Love.
–St. Therese of Lisieux, Living on Love
Reflection: By letting God share his love through your life, you are letting his fire spread to all those you meet.
St. Therese was an avid writer and wrote many poems in her short life. One of her most well-known is “Living on love” that shares how to live fully steeped in God’s Love. As we prepare to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, we want to share HIS love with our friends and family. You can join us in this celebration!
In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, we will focus on different aspects of this well-known poem and invite you to join us as well. Please check into our social media and if you want to share your own thoughts, use the hashtag #livingonlove.
