Last month our friends had the opportunity to inscribe their petitions on paper roses as a part of our Tree of Faith at the National Shrine Museum of St. Therese. Your response was so great we had an abundance of rose petitions!
The petition roses are hanging on trees and in baskets beside the reliquary of St. Therese. The response was so great that we could not fit them on our trees! Remember that St. Therese is looking down and smiling upon your petitions. When we seek her intercession, prayers are answered!
For the months of May and June, the roses will remain close to her relics. They will touch the hearts of St. Therese and of God. The roses are symbols of faith and devotion to St. Therese. All those who see and pray with them will know it.
This is a beautiful way our faith family is welcoming the renewal of life spring offers. Despite how dire, cold, and dark winter was, we survived! Let us go forward with confidence and trust in God, using St. Therese as our example.
We are beyond grateful for your generosity through this opportunity. Because of your donations, our Carmelites can serve people in more than 50 countries worldwide. Thanks to you, we are able to continue St. Therese’s mission of making God known to all ends of the earth.
