On Friday, December 6, 2019, our friends from the area gathered around the manger at the National Shrine of St. Therese for an annual Christmas Tradition.
Through your prayers and support, the Society of the Little Flower helps the Carmelites spread devotion to St. Therese in their daily ministries. Her simple message of bold confidence and trust is a message that people need to hear. And we need your help to make her “little way” known to the ends of the earth.
Thank you to all who attended our celebration for the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Many came to our procession and Mass. If you were unable to attend, please know we were praying for you on this special day.
My name is Fr. Tom Schrader, O. Carm. I have been asked to fill some pretty big shoes as the new director of the Society of the Little Flower.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is praying for you and your intentions during our Five Novenas of Christmas Masses. As a way to celebrate this special time, I wanted to share a little way you can join me!
Thank you for your prayers and support on Giving Tuesday! Because of your generosity, we exceeded our goal of raising $2,000 for the Carmelites!
Your support enables the Carmelites to serve in their vital ministries in 50 countries around the world. From supporting parishes in impoverished areas to teaching students, you make a difference!
