Our lives get hectic during the holiday season and it can be a welcome relief to take a step back and remember the true meaning of this holiday – the Birth of Christ! We invite you to join our family of faith and reflect upon the heart of Christmas.
Join us around the manger for “Christmas at the Crib” at the National Shrine Museum of St. Therese, December 1st or 3rd beginning at 4 pm. Bring your children to listen to the story of St. Therese’s Christmas conversion and to participate in the story-telling of Jesus’ birth and Christmas Carols.
Enjoy hot cocoa and cookies as we take time to reflect on the heart of Christmas. Children will have an opportunity to add their Christmas prayer intentions on paper stars to be hung on the Christmas tree near the crèche. Our Carmelite Gift Shop will be open until 6:30 PM and will be offering a 15% discount to participants during these celebrations.
