Susan Lautenbach

Susan Lautenbach was a special friend to the Society of the Little Flower. A married woman, mother of three boys, a spiritual director, counselor, teacher, guide, student of Carmelite spirituality, mystic, and nurturing soul, Susan led many programs of spirituality at the Carmelite Retreat Center and led tours at the National Shrine of St. Thérèse in Darien, IL. Susan's heavenly life began at the young age of 54 after a long struggle with cancer. We rejoice that she left her thoughts with us in the form of her prayers and reflections on St. Thérèse.
